WORKSHOP | SILK ROAD by SAMIA KHALAF TOSSIO

Participants will explore colour and flow using silk painting techniques. Each person will create a small silk square, templates provided or design your own. Discover the therapeutic joy of painting on silk paints, cold wax and Gutta resists. Suitable for ages 8+

Samia Khalaf Tossio is an award-winning creative director, playful visual/community artist, vocalist, and public speaker, with 17 years of multidisciplinary arts experience. Her mantra is “Love Life, Life Loves You.” A British-born Palestinian with German and Italian heritage, she founded SamiArt in 2008, engaging people in the therapeutic art of silk painting.

After a transformative visit to Palestine, Samia launched Brutiful Tales to amplify, co- create, and connect communities through in-person and online talks, events, and silk-painted murals - known as Silk Roads.
